I recently had a problem with my PC and brought it to WNY PC Repair. I am a graphic designer and I need my PC for my business. All my files are on an external hard drive, so I just took the hard drive to my printing company to borrow their computer to print my files, as I had jobs I needed to deliver.
I plugged in the hard drive, and their computer wouldn't read it, and it kept shutting off. I took it to Brian at WNY PC Repair in a panic, as my entire business is on that hard drive! I was devastated when he called me later and told me it appeared everything was gone!
He promised to keep trying when he dropped my PC off, but that it didn't look good, as the drive wasn't recognized by any computer or recovery program he used. He informed me there are services that specialize in recovery, but that they run in the thousands to recover data. I am a new company starting out, so I can't afford that kind of cost right now.
Imagine my surprise when a week later, Brian called me to say he had recovered everything! I had given up and was rushing to try and recreate all the jobs I had due to be printed! To say he was a lifesaver is not an understatement in this case, my entire business was at stake!
