WNY PC Repair offers on-site as well as pick up service (for computers) for your convenience. In most cases we are able to diagnose the problem within an hour. We will ask some questions when you call or email, in order to try to diagnose the problem before we arrive. As we stock some common parts, we may be able to diagnose and complete the repair in the first hour in order to avoid a return visit.
We are extremely successful in virus and spyware removal while preserving data (pictures, email, music, etc.). In most cases, there is no need to reformat and reinstall Windows and risk copying the virus back with your data! Clean it instead! Keep your data, programs and favorites and settings!

While we take every precaution to preserve your data, any computer repair can result in lost data. In the case of a dying hard drive, simply powering it on could be the final boot. Therefore, we cannot guarantee your data. If possible. back up your
data. You can use an external hard drive, tape, CD or DVD. If desired, we can back up your data once we arrive or at our shop, but doing it yourself will obviously save on labor costs. We will need your password(s) to logon to your computer, and also email if you are having a problem with email. We do not save passwords after the repair is complete.
If in our opinion the cost of a repair is close to replacement cost, we will show you both options so you can make an informed decision. If you decide to replace your computer or printer, we can transfer data to the new computer or set up your new printer.
